I come from the “Hammer”. Hi it’s Doug Farraway, Sports Director of THE FAN 590. Welcome to THE FAN.
A little back ground if you care.
I have been doing radio since 1975, having made stops at CHNR Simcoe, CKJD Sarnia, CJBK London, CKOC Hamilton, CHFI Toronto, again to CKOC Hamilton where we launched K-LITE FM and where I became News Director. Since 1994 I have been employed at the FAN 590.
I’m married to the lovely Debbie since 1980 and have two young adults; Shane and Amber currently off at University ready to pursue their own careers and lives. Pursuits? Hobbies? Crafts? Umm, no crafts but I am intrigued by genealogy and am currently working on a massive family tree. I also love to garden and have been called Mr. Potato Head for my fixation with that particular vegetable.
